Meet Zoe Salmon…

Zoe Salmon is an award-winning television presenter who hails from Bangor, Northern Ireland.

After winning the esteemed title of Miss Northern Ireland in 1999,  she went back to graduate from Queen’s University with a degree in Law. As a fully-qualified lawyer, Zoe then landed one of the most coveted jobs on TV as a presenter on the BAFTA Award-winning BBC’s Blue Peter, which made her a household name for many of us who grew up watching.

Since then Zoe has been a part of TV shows all over the world including Dancing On Ice, Celebrity Masterchef, World’s Strongest Man and The Island With Bear Grylls. She also starred in ‘Get Him To The Greek’ as her first Hollywood Debut alongside Russell Brand, Jonah Hill and P Diddy.

With a real desire to ‘give back,’ Zoe has also helped raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities like Action Cancer, the Northern Ireland Hospice, Cancer Research UK and Alex’s Wish.

In today’s episode, we talk about how Zoe overcame her childhood shyness, what it’s like to live life in the public eye, her unusual Blue Peter audition and the highs/lows she’s faced along the way.

Really, really enjoyed this conversation with Zoe which is a real masterclass on how to chase down your dreams, work hard and have a lot of fun along the way. We cover a lot of ground and discuss a whole range of topics, but this episode is absolutely one you need to listen to the whole way through.

So without further adieu, let’s get going.
